Members of The Landings Garden Club were joined by local and military dignitaries on May 30, 2008 for the dedication ceremony for the Blue Star Memorial Marker at the Landings Association building.  The marker honors all men and women who have served, are serving or will serve in U.S. armed forces.  Dixie Diffenderfer's passion and diligent efforts were instrumental in bringing the Blue Star Memorial Marker to The Landings.
